A classic Grateful Dead show from Boston in 1969 just popped up onYouTube. It's just the audio but literally is one of my favorite shows.

A classic Grateful Dead show from Boston in 1969 just popped up onYouTube. It's just the audio but literally is one of my favorite shows.

This was a bootleg I wore out when I was young it's a very interesting show especially for the year. It has an interesting song selection for 1969. The version of He was a friend of mine is by far their best and the Baby Blue is awe-inspiring. You will not hear many better shows from this era.

Phish dumped the annoying LED Screens.

Phish dumped the annoying LED Screens and it looks like they have a new lighting ring.

Phish has set up inside there personal practice arena and reports have surfaced they have
done away with those LED boards. I found them distracting and depending on my buzz, they were downright creepy, corny, comical but never cool. I should not get to excited it may just be for this mini tour. They would block the view of the fans at M.S.G. But C.K.5 is the best in the industry and with this band less tends to be more to get the best concert experience in the business.
These videos that have found their way outside of the closed rehearsals via Twitter user @PhishatMSG:

MSNBC Gets Phishy Again. Watch how hip Jake Sherman and Katy Tur is.

Politico's Jake Sherman appeared on Katy Tur's MSNBC program and the two had another Phish off. On the video around the 2:30 mark the two prove their fanboy status .......again. It was cool once, twice but I think they should step it up. Maybe do a few dab hits or eat a grilled cheese. Well here is the video of the Phish loving political peeps busting out more Phish references and the folks at home never know. 😎 It's so cool or not. Shut up & Dance!

Here’s how it went down:

Watch Vulpecks complete show from Red Rocks. It will make you a believer.

I been a fan of Vulpeck since I stumbled across them a few years ago at (Insert Name) Festival. I can't remember which one, I used to cover 6-8 a year and they all run into one,  but not in a "Stella Blue" way. More of a which Walmart did your second cousin meet his third wife way. ....... Oh yea! Vulpeck brings music that is colored in every conceivable genre and they paint outside the lines. This set is from earlier this summer when they opened up for Trey Band at Red Rocks. I had the pleasure of being there and it was better than T.A.B for me. Once you seen Trey Band over a hundred times you have seen them way to much. If I hear Clint Eastwood or another token Sand again it most mean Phish is not touring and I have a free ticket and my best friend is in town. Anywhere, enjoy The Vulpeck.

Breaking News......Phish is Rehearsing Look at the Trucks

Breathtaking News!!!! Phish is rehearsing for those handful of show this summer. Big Trucks

From the world of no shit!!
You heard me right Phreaks! Phish is practicing and they also shit, eat and get dressed. (except for John)
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Phish rented the BMO Harris Bradley Center for a week for rehearsals for their summer sessions. It's ironic that this is news and I would be surprised if your still reading these words. It's also frustrating that they are practicing almost as many days as their bittersweet short summer engagements. A truck driver having a smoke confirmed that the band is spending time and money so they will not be rusty for their upcoming cock tease of a tour. He was having a smoke when he confirmed the earth shattering news. Don't get me wrong a little Phish is better than no Phish, but considering I hate M.S.G and the idea of playing 13 shows in one venue is not Phun. At least ,I will get my three nights at Dicks, but I am afraid that will leave me with blue balls. Their is a half dozen semi trucks out front and the band plans on joining them later in the week. I find it odd that they need a huge venue to practice. Hopefully they will play a few shows for the fine folks in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They are heading to Chicago for three nights starting Friday. I hate Phishing Season is so short this year, but our boy's will find a way to make the most of it. I do not know what to expect, but Trey singing "I Miss You"three times in one venue. Glaze On and hopefully I will see you at Dicks. This just in............................One year ago today you clicked on a story and hopefully you will again today and next year . Please click on a ad and don't forget the hottest band changes when their contract is up.

Watch A Pro Shot of Umphreys McGee Bonus Late Night Set from  Bankaroo

When Simon Posfotd aka Spongle ran into problems getting into the country. Which is another story not for this forum. Umphrey's McGee gladly excepted an invitation to play another set this one being a late night affair. Umphrey's McGee have played Bankoroo nine times, some being historical performances. The band shared a proshot of their complete late night set. It is an eventful set that includes one of my favorite mashup in the form of " Frankie Zombie". It takes "Thunder Kiss' 65" by White Zombie with "Have a Cigar" by Floyd and "Relax" which is Frankie Goes To Hollywood's one hit wonder from my childhood. It's quite entertaining needless to say. The marathon set also includes a triumph "Bridgeless" musical sandwich that includes a phenomenal "Day Nurse" among others.

Setlist

Bathing Digits > 1348, Bad Friday, Bridgeless > Day Nurse, Booth Love > Frankie Zombie, Higgins > Bridgeless
