Phish Made Everybody Happy with a Boston Glee Party and a Monumental Ghostly second sret.
Phish Made Everybody Happy with a Boston Glee Party and a Monumental Ghostly second set.
On the Twelfth Day of the Bakery's Dozen it was a Soul Shakedown Party of epic proportions. This shit is ridiculous and his starting to piss me off that I heard Possum 9 times in 2010. Only two bands can play 12 shows without repeating a song and still produce overwhelming satisfying music. They are the only one that has achieved it and I believe it will never happen again, unless a band from Vermont does it next summer. The first set was a blast! They played some Phish and some bust out city!but it got Phishy when they turned into a band at a Boston Fair. They performed a musical Boston Creme Pie with layers of rousing covers. This historic run has only two sets to go and it safe to say it was the sunshine of their career.
Then the second set happened and I am still looking for my jaw. The highly anticipated Ghost kicked things off and instantly became a psychedelic sonic rollercoaster. It is up there with the Amsterdam version and that's says it all. Then after a misplaced “Petrichor” which is the new Time Turns Elastic, the “ Light” launched into orbit. It's still getting fucking brighter has the jam was equivalent to sky diving on acid. It was an adventurous ride that made you confused in the best way. Then it dissolved into “The Lizards” and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame should be calling soon so they can bronze this set. It encores with “Joy” which was perfect, I love that song and I was emotionally spent. One show to go and who knows what to expect but I know they will want us to be Happy. We have had 12 best shows ever!
