Lockn'  has been a spectacular festival and we still have today to go. Friday night Joe Russo's Almost Dead played their first of two midnight shows and they dazzled the fans like they always do. WATCH Fridays  fun below.

The Friday night show was phenomenal but the real fireworks were only a day away. Saturday afternoon Joe Russo joined Bob Weir and Phil Leah in the Super VIP tent for an intimate performance which included such rarities as Lazy River Road and Mountains on the Moon. (You can see the performance in its entirety on our Facebook Wall). It was not a complete surprise when Bob Weir joined JRAD last night for five tunes but it was certainly welcomed. Joe Russo's Almost Dead are taking over the world. Every time I get the pleasure of seeing them, I leave dumbfounded over what they achieve musical using the Grateful Dead's musical catalog (mostly).  In five years they will be playing amphitheatres if they do desire. This weekend they converted a slew of new fans as they will at Red Rocks next week. Watch the videos below of Bob Weir sitting in with J.R.A.D last night and head over to our Facebook page to watch the performance from the "You paid how much money for your ticket tent."
