String Cheese Incident kicks of their annual Red Rocks Run and it was real Petty.

S.C.I may have a light Summer schedule but they have been absolutely phenomenal every performance. Last night they kicked off their annual three night Red Rocks run with a sexy Setlist including Tom Petty bust out. It also included the first "Parker Blues" since 2004. They performed a diverse selection of songs spanning their long, diverse career. The jams were tight and the hometown crowd was happy to get their cheese fix for the summer. On top of Tom Petty's "You Wreck Me", they also debut another cover in the form of "In The Hall Of The Mountain King" by Jyemp Club. The segues were especially sexy with two musical sandwiches to close out a powerful first frame. The second set included an extended "Windy Mountain", the Billy classic accompanied the first rarity "Smile" giving the evening an old school vibe. String Cheese will continue their run this evening and they always manage to top every powerful show when they have home field advantage. Tonight will certainly be an incredible incident.
