Joe Russo Almost Dead plays The Green River Festival with Jeff Chimenti and John Shaw. Listen to the entire set and my 411.

J-Rad the hottest thing since sliced bread rolled into The Green River Festival to play a highly regarded set. They had a few guest filling in with Jeff Chimenti on keys and John Shaw on bass. They dazzled with their Grateful Dead on Steroids meets Tim Burton effects set of classic dead songs. While usually Jeff Chimenti is an improvement over any keyboard player alive, this is the one band where that happens to be not only false but ludicrous. While John Shaw is formidable, Dave is a key part of the magic of this band. It was definitely worth price of admission but J-RAD is was not. Listen for yourself thanks to taper nico11104 and Live for live music.
