Dead and Company's first show of their doubleheader at historic Fenway Park was winner. Full Audio,Videos, Setlist and the 411

Dead and Company can't do nothing wrong and the first of two shows at Fenway Park last night made the green monster small in comparison. They pulled out some tour debuts in route to a phenomenal performance. But we have come to expect nothing less from this six piece time machine who turn the clock back on a nightly basis. The first set got off to a rousing start with a fitting opener of "The Music never Stopped". The first set highlights included a tremendous version of "Big Boss Man" that really cooked has Jeff and John displayed some great musical ideas they bounced off each other that led to a rendition that Pigpen would have enjoyed. The first stanza came to a thrilling conclusion with a tour debut of the seldom played classic "Passenger".
The second half started with a great take on "Dancing in the Streets". But the set exploded next with "Help on the Way" into "Slpinot" before taking a epic turn with a holistic version of "Estimated Prophet". The "Franklin's Tower" would end the epic set after a rousing "Eyes of the World" into "Drums and "Space". A tear jerking "Standing on the Moon" followed a "I need a Miracle". The remarkable show ended with a double encore of "Black Muddy River" and " One More Saturday Night". Tonight's show will certainly not disappoint. Thanks to Jambase we listen to the complete audio of last night's show.
