Dead and Company just keep gaining momentum as they bring smiles and sin to Salt Lake City. Setlist and 411

Dead and Company brought their Summer Tour to Salt Lake City delivering another spectacular show. After a slow start to the tour the band leaves smiles and melted faces wherever they play and tonight was no exception. "Feel Like a Stranger" started out the Grateful madness has the band was firing on all cylinders right out of the gate. The evening that followed was certainly a long, long, crazy night. As the six piece juggernaut performed two outstanding sets, where improvisation was the theme. The first stanza offered up a beautiful "Row Jimmy" and a pristine "Sugaree" as Mayer just keeps pushing this classic into fresh territory. The classic "Promised Land" ended the first set like it has for 40 years.
The second set had everything including a "Shakedown" into drums and a "Standing on the Moon" that escaped out of a deep space jam. Jevonoh's favorite choir is heading into my city and there is nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile.
