Lowell Thomas George was born April 13, 1945 and passed away on June 29, 1979. He was a master of many instruments, but was best known has the primary vocalist, guitarist and songwriter for the legendary band "Little Feat". Before "Little Feat" would make him a legend, he was in a few different bands. "The Factory" was his first band that brought him national attention and included future members of "Little Feat". In a career that sadely ended way to soon, he still managed to revolutionize a whole new sound. In his short life he manage to played with Frank Zappa, The Mothers of Invention and The Stendells. "Little Feat's" live album " Waiting for Columbus" is considered one of the best live records of all time. Phish even covered it during one of their celebrated Halloween shows. He was truly one of a kind and rock n roll was forever changed because of his talents. Enjoy the music of a master and Happy Fucking Birthday Lowell. You will live forever.
