I have been listening to every Voodoo Dead bootleg off their recent highly successful run of shows. The music celebrates Jerry Garcia without being a cover band. JRAD is a bizarre and I love my Grateful Dead on steroids. But what Steve Kimock, Jackie Greene, Oteil and Jeff Chimenti along with many special guests created was seemingly supernatural. Just listen or watch the pro shot streams they are a available on my site under each night's show. Well the band is packed and heading to New Orleans for one last New Orleans tribute of my favorite show. Can you say it's the 40th Anniversary of the celebrated 5/8/77 Barton Hall? Well this band is saying it. Kimock Jr. will be behind the kit and Porter Jr. will take over on bass. But we know Oteil won't miss this!
Tickets are on sale now via Ticketweb.

How perfect of an ending for a band beyond description. The music will truly never stop........

Just have a listen!
