In a year where we keep losing musical legends, Mose Allison adds to this horrific trend when he died Tuesday at his home in Hilton Head, S.C. He was 89 years old.

Mose Allison was a musician's musician who was an accomplished pianist, singer and songwriter who's sound bounced between modern jazz and Delta Blues. He was one funky white man and is music is timeless. Rest Easy Mose
