Phil and Friends offer up a ragtime inspired version of Candyman at Terrapin Crossroads. Watch!

On Tuesday Phil Lesh held a free performance at his mecca, Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California. On the backyard stage, he was accompanied by Jason Crosby, Alex Koford and Craig MacAthur for an afternoon set. Halfway through the performance they offered an upbeat take on the classic “Candyman”. The arrangement reminded me of how J-Rad approaches the Dead catalogue. It's really funky! Have a listen and make up your mind.

Thanks to Jambase and
