Tom Petty Wants to Perform 1994's "Wildflowers" in its Entirety on His Next Tour.

Tom Petty Wants to Perform 1994's "Wildflowers" in its Entirety on his next Tour.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Tom Petty confesses he is considering performing 1994's iconic album "Wildflowers" in its entirety on tour next summer. He furthermore wants to perform it how it was originally envisioned as a double album. “I want to take the Heartbreakers and whoever else I need to reproduce every sound in a big way,” Petty told Rolling Stone. “That album was really about sound in a big way. I would like to go out there and perform the entire album as it was originally conceived with all of the songs.” Tom Petty used to be against playing complete records live but it seems he has softened his stance. He is currently on tour with Mudcrutch and sounds unbelievable for any stage in his career.
