Led Zeppelin"Stairway to Heaven" Case Could Be Ruled a Mistrial after One Day.

Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven” copyright trial got underway in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Shortly after it started a dispute whether a video played as evidence had been properly introduced. It has some legal analysts calling for a mistrial. 
   Jimmy Page and Robert Plant are facing a jury over claims they stole their historic song "Stairway to Heaven" intro from Spirits's 1967 instrumental "Taurus"
US District Judge Gary Klausner ruled already that “Stairway to Heaven” bore “substantial” similarities with “Taurus”.
Trustee's for California filed the lawsuit for one dollar. The plaintiff’s lawyer Francis Alexander Malofiy previously stated this is a case about credit where credit is due. Besides the dollar and writing credit they are also suing for future royalties on the timeless song. We will keep you updated.
