Dead and Company deliver another masterpiece in Hartford, CT.

Dead and Company deliver another masterpiece in Hartford, CT.

Dead and Company stepped out on the stage and got the night off to a rousing start with an old school "Hell in a Bucket" opener. The first set also had a band debut in Bob Dylan's"Queen Jane Approximately". Also strong versions of "Row Jimmy" and a smoking" Cumberland Blues to close the first set.
The second set got serious in a big way with the rare set opener "Estimated Prophet". That bent into a seventies-style"Eyes Of The World" and the magical musical rollercoaster had begun. After a confident"Deal" the band got their improvisation on during a "Viola Lee" that melted into Drums and Space. "The Wheel " in its money spot forming out of "Space" got the crowd back on there feet. "Black Peter" ripped our collective hearts out with Bobby having a strong night vocally. He delivered this gem with all heart. A sing along in the form of "U.S Blues" closed a near flawless evening. The "Touch of Grey" encore had the fans licking their chops for tomorrow night.
