John Mayer Shares the Sacred Song Board of GD Tunes that will Be Played By Dead and Company this Summer.

I heard just enough of what I needed during the set played on The Jimmy Kimmel Show. It still baffles the imagination why folks are surprised that the songs are played in a slower time. The  "Fire on the Mountain" had an awfully slow tempo, I like it better when it soars. No Shit!  Bobby Weir is the only opinion that matters and it's nothing new or will it ever change. I thought the band sounded fresh and their comfort level and trust amongst one another is very promising and will certainly lead to more complex jams. I think the biggest complaint was the lack of songs in Dead and Company's rotation. The " Fare Thee Well" Band  played more songs in five shows then the entire Dead and Company tour. In interviews leading up to their Summer Tour they have expressed a desire to play more of the Dead's collosal song catalogue. John Mayer added fuel to the fire by releasing the Dead and Company's song Dry/Earse board used last year to practice the tunes that were in rotation. Similar to last year, John Mayer seems every bit as excited for tour to start than anybody. They are a few new songs on that board. But this summer's set list will be a wonderland of Grateful tunes.
