Phish Setlist: N.Y.E. - The Year we got our band back

Phish achieves musical fireworks to end this musically defining year:
Phish Jams it's way back to regain the throne of  Kings of New Years Eve. They turned in a remarkable performance. Giving the fans three sets of goodness. Focusing on ambient jams more than shenanigan. Even the gag was a hourglass jam similar to a secret festival set. All three sets flowed like champagne as they hosted the most bravura  party of this holy night. Did we expect anything less after clearly their most musically appealing year in the 3.0 era. Here is the set list from our friends at
Words: Kevin Long

Madison Square Garden, New York, NY

Encore: Tube >  Cavern

Notes: This show was webcast via Live Phish. BOAF contained a quote of The Birds. During I Didn't Know, Trey introduced Fishman as "The Man Mulcahy." The crowd sang the last verse of I Didn't Know, and Fish then asked the crowd to join him in singing Happy Birthday to his daughter, Ella. The third set began with the band on a second stage beneath a funnel-shaped screen suspended from the ceiling. As the band jammed, part of the screen descended and became an hourglass shape surrounding the stage, on which a series of images were projected. As the jam continued and the countdown to midnight approached, the band returned to the main stage. Source:
