Preview: Turkuaz - 9/29 & 9/30 - Brooklyn Bowl

This coming Tuesday and Wednesday night Turkuaz will be taking over Brooklyn Bowl kicking off their much anticipated Digitonium Tour. The bands newest release and soon to be 2nd nationally distributed album officially drops this Friday October 2nd. Fresh off a summer tour full of some of the country’s best festivals the band is firing on all cylinders with a future that seems brighter than ever. From their powerful funk grooves to outright dance infused jams backed by one of the best percussion section around as well as some of the more sultry vocals you will find this tour promises to be one for the books. With 4 East coast shows before heading west for a month there is no time like now to experience all that is Turkuaz.

If a night or two of dancing seems up your alley then these shows are exactly where you need to spend the early part of this week. Making the evening just  that much sweater the band is bringing along opening acts the Polyrhytmics and PitchBlak Brass Band on Tuesday and Yo Mama’s Big Booty Band and PitchBlak Brass Band on Wednesday. Single day tickets are available as well as a 2 day pass for those looking to make it out to both shows while saving a few bucks. The band will have copies of Digitonium their newest album available for purchase as well as plenty of other merchandise available so pick an evening or grab a 2 day pass and lace up your dancing shoes and come join the party.
