John Perry Barlow survives Heart Attack Wednesday.
The Grateful Dead nation are breathing a unified sigh of relief when the news broke that beloved song writer and political activist John Barlow survived a heart attack on Wednesday. Among several tweets he mentioned that he was
dead for eight minutes and is on the road to recovery. His collaborations with Bob Weir are as important as Robert Hunter's lyrics dancing next to Jerry Garcia's music. He is a childhood friend of Bob Weir and a voice of sanity in this insane world. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his immediate family, as well as his extended Grateful Dead family. Here at grateful music we are thankful his long strange trip will continue.
