Disc Jam Festival Preview 
Get Ready to Rage: Disc Jam 2014 Disc Jam festival is an epic weekend packed to the brim full of disc golf, camping, and ripping jam bands, right in your back yard. Disc Jam has announced a new location for their event this year, on the gorgeous grounds of Camp Coldbrook in Barre, Massachusetts. 
The hidden gem of a festival, Disc Jam will take place June 13-15th, a perfect Father’s Day weekend! Disc Jam is nestled in the perfect hot bed location, with an mere hours drive to Boston, Providence, Hartford and Albany. 
This amazing location allows for music from all over the Northeast to converge at one energetic and progressive festival. 
This year will mark the fourth anniversary of Disc Jam, and the festival is only growing in size. Camp Coldbrook offers luscious grassy camping areas, along with two swimming pools and a bar. The main stages will feature music till 1am every night, along with late night sets indoors in a grand music hall. The disc golf tournaments will still take place at the original Disc Jam location, a quick 3.5 miles down the road, for those who wish to play. 
 The Disc Jam lineup is a formidable one, starting off with the New England jam heroes, Dopapod performing two live sets. Kung Fu, Twiddle, Consider the Source will also be performing sets of live music. 
The festival also features some hidden gems of live music, these are bands to check out, that you may have never had the chance to hear before. The Hornitz duo, consists of two performers one with keyboards and saxophone, the other armed with a beatbox spittin’ mouth, synth loop pad and a trombone. 
The Hornitz really know how to get the crowd partying and having a great time to their hip hop jazz fusion. The band lespecial hails a very unique and memorable sound, like that of a post apocalyptic zombie dance jam band funk party that you just have to witness to understand. Particle and Friends will be assembling to form a super-band for a super-jam. 
The lineup will consist of Steve Molitz, Ben Combe, Eric Gould of Particle along with Jules Jennsen of Higher Organix and more surprise special guests from Pink Talking Fish. Particle delivers a jamtronica wave of digital sound that will massage you eardrums into funktronic bliss. Disc Jam is coming out of the gates firing full speed, do not miss this amazing and intimate festival weekend!
