Upstanding Entertainment is proud to bring you The Festival of Gnarnia, an epic musical event tucked away in Beech Mountain, North Carolina from August 9 through 11. This creative explosion of music and art is a place where music lovers unite and share a once in a lifetime experience.
The second round of the lineup came out today for Gnarnia, adding to what is already a stacked lineup. Today's additions include acts like Conspirator, Zach Deputy, Minnesota, Songs of Water and Mindelixer. This is just a few to go along with a great list of regional acts set to melt faces off a the upcoming festival.
For less than $100 come explore the incredible magical land of Gnarnia, complete with over 60 nationally recognized and regional acts, performers and artists. But that’s not all. This eco-conscience gathering is powered by clean Biodiesel. It is a time where local and national causes can educate Gnarnians on how to actively participate in their communities beyond this experience.
Gnarnia is a fantasy world that will become a reality in August, unleashing unlimited creative expression throughout Beech Mountain. It is a place that will serve up three days of silliness and unity amongst music and art.
The Festival of Gnarnia will have three performance areas located at Beech Mountain Ski Resort. Along with an incredible variety of musical styles showcased each day, there will be interactive workshops, performance arts, bicycle jousting, hikes, waterfalls and exceptional vacation rentals. There will even be a mud wrestling tournament. Yes, you read that correctly. Mud wrestling.
The festival will be complete with ski lifts that are available for guests to get to the summit of the mountain. You won’t be able to hit the slopes for a ski run, but there’s plenty going on at the top. Head up the chair lift for yoga and meditation workshops or to just chill out and watch the sunset fill a 100 mile view above the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains.
A unique option for this festival is the ability to enjoy the comfort of the vacation rentals located right on Beech Mountain. While there will be camping options in the area, there are cabins, chalets and houses available within walking distance of the festival grounds. The deals are going for about $20 per night for staying at an inn, condo or house when booking with friends. If you feel like balling out and have your own personal VIP area, upgrade your rental and grab something with a hot tub.
There will be a shuttle service available to get around to rental areas, as well as off the mountain shuttle stops in the surrounding area. This makes it nice and easy for patrons to camp or lodge around Beech Mountain.
“Winter Clearance” tickets are still available for a very short time, going for a very affordable $95.00 plus fees. Once this round sells out, “Keys to the Castle” tickets will be sold for$115.00 plus fees. There will also be “Fashionably Late”tickets for $135.00, which is still very doable. If for some reason you can spend only one day in this fantasy world of music and entertainment, there will be $75 day passes.
Check out the lineup below, filled with some of the best acts around. It has a steady mixture of rock, electronic, funk, hip hop and soul that will be appealing to anyone with ears.
