Phil Lesh's Terrapin Crossroads: A full look inside and out!

Just three days before Phil and Friends come together in Broomfield, CO at The 1^st Bank Center for a three night run, Phil Lesh's has dropped a huge bomb of dates that will take place at his very own Terrapin Crossroads with different formations of his super-groups dubbed “Phil and Friends”.

The Patio and Harbor

Terrapin Crossorads is Phil's personal venue project that he has been working on for many years now. Similar in ways to Bob Weir's TRI, it's a Marin County based venue where live streams of concerts will be available to fans. How it differs from TRI is that it offers multiple rooms, a bar and restaurant and is an open venue to the public. Weir has gone this direction by reopening The Sweetwater, also in the beautiful county just across the Golden Gate from San Francisco. Phil and Friends will confirm many additional shows in the coming weeks and they will also be offering $5.00 webcasts for selected shows.

As part of their phase one launch they will have a full bar, along with a limited dinner menu on show nights, check back for a reservation option.

They state that they will close the Grate Room briefly in late summer of 2012 to reopen in the the Fall of 2012; taking a bit of time to put even more love and care into realizing Phil’s long-held vision of a musical home and community gathering space at this historic Marin locale.As one would expect from any concert venue built by a member of the Grateful Dead, the Grate Room at Terrapin Crossroads feature's a state-of-the-art sound, provided by none other than Meyer Sound. This new sound system is installed and ready to go, along with a cosmetic facelift, in time for these first performances.
