"Furthur" Will Open Odeum in Broomfield,CO

It's official. The Odeum Colorado - the mid-sized arena formerly known as the Broomfield Event Center -will open March 5-6 with Furthur.
The Odeum will be a music-first venue featuring many of the same mid-sized acts that have regularly filled the Fillmore Auditorium, Magness Arena and the Wells Fargo Theater over the years. Promoters will start announcing more acts in the coming weeks.
The Odeum, with its 6,500-person capacity, is managed by Peak Entertainment - a joint venture between Chuck Morris at AEG Live Rocky Mountains and Stan Kroenke at Kroenke Sports Enterprises.
Construction and renovations started at the Broomfield venue about two months ago, the group said. The room is only three years old, so "it's as if we got a new house that just needed finishing," said Morris. "It's like (ICON Venue Group CEO) Tim Romani told me, and he built the building: 'It's got great bones, but it doesn't have any soul.' We're good with soul."
Tickets to the Furthur show - all of which will be general admission, both the standing room on the floor and the seats in the bowl - go on sale at 10 a.m. on Dec. 12 at tickethorse.com or 866-461-6556. Tickets are $49.75-$55.50.
The Odeum is 15 minutes from Boulder and 15 minutes from Down-Town Denver
