Bill Kreutzman of the Grateful Dead Join Phish On Final Show of 4 Night Red Rocks Run

On the final night of some of their best music of the tour, some would say years, decades, Phish during the second set after opening the first with a long and winding You Enjoy Myself brought out Grateful Dead Drummer and friend Bill Kreutzman, together they combined for a collaborative Undermind and then he stayed on the skins and with Fishman did a Phish version of Drums, Seven Below,2001, Waves, Character Zero and more. This by far the biggest guest Phish has had all tour aside from Springsteen who Phish jammed with at Bonnaroo...The band isn't new to Bill, who played drums on Mike Gordons 2008 Green Sparrow release with Trey as well.

The First Set was sweet opening with a Ween cover of Roses are Free, Then crowd favorite, and participatory WILSON, and Reba. They also played Gordon's new funky tune Sugar Shack, and ended the set with another new tune, soon to be out on the new album JOY, Kill Devil Falls.

We thought that there would be a Jerry tribute last night, but Phish has a way of using smoke and mirrors to do one thing one night that was expected the night before, just ask the crowd at Thomas and Mack in 1998 who were expecting a Pink Floyd Costume, got an excellent Velevet Underground, and missed the Dark Side of Moon the next night in Utah.
